Custom Toys Based on Deaths from 80’s Movies

I’ve spent the last few weeks working on a personal project that combines my three favorite things: 80s movies, action figures, and deaths. The result is this questionably-tasteful toy line based on some memorable deaths from a few of my favorite 80’s movies.

UPDATE: I have put them all on eBay as separate 3-day auctions. VISIT MY EBAY PAGE NOW.

(Storenvy has double-sold too many one-offs for me to want to use it for these).

They're made from a bunch of different toy lines, including GI Joe, Star Wars, Fisher Price Adventure People, and a few randoms. I may hold onto a couple of them, but most of them will wind up in the store or on eBay at some point. See below for the full list and for more pics.

The set of 8 custom action figures includes:
·     Bennett from Commando
·     Hans Gruber from Die Hard
·     Arjen Rudd ("Diplomatic immunity!) from Lethal Weapon II
·     Apollo Creed from Rocky IV
·     Goose from Top Gun
·     ConSec Scanner (head explosion guy) from Scanners
·     Hooch from Turner and Hooch
·     Jack (Kevin Bacon) from Friday the 13th

  2. Mt wife shot down my suggestion to name our son after the villain from Die Hard.

She likes the movie, but thought that "Holly" was a silly name for a boy.

  3. Some time ago, I heard there may have been a Scanners TV series. Nothing became of that.

I love all five movies. Yes, there are five films, if you also count the two Scanner Cop movies as well.

  7. Toys, like play itself, serve multiple purposes in both humans and animals. They provide entertainment while fulfilling an educational role. Toys enhance cognitive behavior and stimulate creativity. They aid in the development of physical and mental skills which are necessary in later life.https://toyhearts.co.uk
