I just added a bunch of these “Deadbeat Dad” toys to the store. Yes, I’m well aware of the fact that they are literally nothing. But, to me, that’s way funnier than an actual dad figure. I’m also well aware of the fact that these look depressing as shit. Between the sad color palette and dirty kitchen pic, they just scream sadness.
Side note: I had to dig through some pretty dark pictures on various sites to find one that was licensed for commercial use and somehow conveyed “generally depressing shot of a broken home.” Luckily for me, Aaron Jacobs in Australia took the perfect one.
