‘The Art of Self-Defense’ Jesse Eisenberg Figures (with Dachshund!)

I was recently contacted by the folks at Bleecker Street Media to do a small run of figures as giveaways for their upcoming film The Art of Self-Defense. We only made 6 of them (Bleecker Street will give away 5, and another was made for the writer/director Riley Stearns).

I cannot say enough good things about this movie. As someone who loves dark humor, it’s the epitome of my type of comedy with super careful writing, a slight vintage aesthetic, and an unreal cast. And, as someone who has spent his entire life collecting action figures, I think Riley Stearns makes some killer points about what it means to be (or to be considered) a man.

This was a super fun project, and everyone at Bleecker Street (including Jesse Eisenberg who approved the final design) was so easy to work with. 

The Art of Self-Defense opens July 12 in NY, LA and Austin, and July 19 nationwide. Just go see this movie, okay?
